The movie features a family that consists of two parents (mother and father), along with a small daughter. As you'll learn later in the movie, there is more to the family than meets the eye. But either way they are hiding out in this shelter and trying to maintain a family oriented life for themselves. Oh and the man who plays the father also played Eric in the HBO show True Blood.
But all I have to say is that the movie itself is filled with great acting along with realistic moments (nothing so unbelievable, it feels silly) that will make the main characters seem much more engaging. You really get to see each of the family members for what they are... They aren't human, by the way.
While Hidden tops my thriller movie list, it doesn't have a lot of action, but does have a lot of substance. Despite being kind of dull action wise, it makes due with featuring a family that is trying to be isolated by hiding out in a underground shelter. Apparently there are some armed police above looking for people like them. And unfortunately, those police aren't looking to talk to individuals like family.
You got to see this movie to really understand what I'm talking about... But if your looking to be scared, this may not be the movie for you even though it is filled with some minor scares and great acting. But on the other-hand, if your looking for a movie that is engaging and filled with drama, then this is the movie for you.
